All monies or food donated during March and April will apply toward matching funds from Alan Feinstein's Million Dollar Challenge. Alan Feinstein has committed himself to fight hunger throughout our United States and has challenged Food Banks all across the land to fight this problem in their own areas. All monies or food donated will go to help residents in Yavapai County, but the best part of all is that when we turn in our results at the end of April, we will also receive some of Alan Feinstein's million dollars to help our efforts. (For reporting purposes all food counts at the rate of $1.00 per lb.)

Announcing our annual "Flying High Turkey Drive" starting November 21st from noon to 6pm at Frys in both Prescott and Prescott Valley. Come and watch Chamber President Marnie Uhl, Arizona Sundags mascot "Burnie", Jackie Bessler from Yavapai Broadcasting, Dave Maurer from Prescott Chamber and Steve Conrad from the Boys and Girls club rise in the ladder trucks until 2500 turkeys are donated.

Announcing the 1st annual Quad-City Hunger Challenge sponsored by the Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe and the Yavapai Gaming Agency. Replacing the Taste of Prescott fundraising event held for the past 10 years, this challenge will run for approximately two months this fall and end on November 11th. All businesses are invited to participate by collecting canned goods donated by their employees and customers. The donated food will be weighed and recorded as a contribution from your business. Monetary contributions will also be accepted. Businesses will be featured in advertising promotions on radio and on signs about town.
